Family, Senior, & Child Photographer - Jay Malone
Jay has been taking portraits since 1999. He officially opened his business professionally on September 11, 2001. A day that we as Americans will never forget. As an artist in High School, Jay learned the value of composition and subject matter. Now, Jay is creating art with something besides a pencil and brush!

2011 has been a very good year for Jay. Not only did it mark 10 years of business, but it opened many doors. Jay started something called "Project 365" in January 2011. In short, it consist of a different picture EVERY day for 365 days. These images are shared on his personal facebook page that you can view here. This project has gained the attention of many people on facebook. But more than that, it has pushed Jay to become a better photographer! In this "Project 365" you will see a few portraits, but mostly you will see photographs of nature, landscape, happines, sadness...anything that is interesting that day. Please check it out and enjoy. 2011 also brought on several awards for Jay.  Including winning multiple places in a national portrait contest, first place in the national EVGA photo contest, and several first place wins in a local photo contest. But one of the greatest honors came in October of 2011. October 24, 2011 the northern lights were visible from Arkansas, which is very rare. Thanks to a tip from his wife, Jay went outside and photographed the Aurora Borealis in the night sky. He then shared that image on facebook, and immediately began to receive national attention. The following day Jay learned that his image was selected to be featured in an article for National Geographic.
So not only is Jay known for his wonderful portraits, but his outstanding images of nature prove that
he is not only a professional photographer, but still an artist!
